Tropical Storm Florence bears down on Bermuda
MIAMI, USA (Reuters): Tropical Storm Florence
headed for Bermuda as a large mass of gusty rain on
Friday and seemed ready to strengthen into a
hurricane before hitting the British territory, US
forecasters said. Bermuda issued a hurricane watch
before nightfall.

Reputed Bahamian drug kingpin extradited to US
MIAMI, USA (Reuters): Reputed Bahamian drug lord
Samuel Knowles has been extradited to Miami where
he was first indicted six years ago for his alleged
involvement in cocaine and marijuana smuggling,

nations are eligible to receive multiple-entry visas.

Tropical depression may intensify, enter Caribbean
MIAMI, USA (Bloomberg): A tropical depression in the
central Atlantic Ocean headed toward the Caribbean
could strengthen into Tropical Storm Florence by
Monday night, the National Hurricane Center said.
The storm, about 1,165 miles east of the Lesser
Antilles, was moving northwest at 12 miles an hour.

Tropical Depression Six forms in the Atlantic
MIAMI, USA: The sixth tropical depression of the
2006 hurricane season has formed far out in the
Atlantic and is expected to become a tropical storm
on Monday. According to the National Hurricane
Center in Miami, at 11:00 pm EDT Sunday, the centre
was about 1,395 miles east of the Lesser Antilles.
