Guards foil escape plot at Guyana's main prison
GEORGETOWN, Guyana: Three inmates, including one
on remand facing three murder charges, made a
daring attempt to escape from Guyana’s main prison
late Tuesday evening after they ripped apart the
concrete and ventilation grilles in their cells.
However, their plan was short-lived.
